2 River

Children learning about the fractions 1/2 1/4 3/4.

Children in Year 2 are studying the text Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and spent a morning exploring a different room. They looked at a Candy Floss room and used their 5 senses (taste, touch, smell, sound and sight) to explore a variety of objects to fuel their imaginations.

Year 2 children used recycled materials and scrap materials to create a model of various buildings along the River Thames.

Following instructions to make a game

2 River took part in the Ventura Animal workshop. We saw many interesting animals and insects

Reflective Space - 2 River enjoyed their time in the 'Reflective Space' organised by Regeneration. The children felt calm and relaxed and enjoyed the various activities and some were able to discuss how others who are less fortunate than us might feel.
