Dear Families,
Welcome back to the Summer Term. I know many of us will not believe we are even in spring with the recent weather that we have been having! With this in mind, please ensure that your child comes into school with a raincoat that has their name clearly labelled in it.
This term, your child will be consolidating their learning and, in the latter part of the term, getting ready for transition. We will be sadly saying goodbye to our Year 6's, but not without celebrating their time at Belmont through a variety of activities, including 'Kip on the Ship' and their end of year production!
Home learning has been shared on teams and can also be found on the school website in the year group section.

Outstandingly Happy Harrow School!
Today we were visited by Will Hussey from the Art of Brilliance. He was taken on a school tour by some of our year 5 pupils. He loved the school and enjoyed delivering a Key Stage 2 assembly and the year 5 workshops.

Celebrating Pupil Achievements Outside of School
We would like to say a huge congratulation to Shreya Sawant 2 River, who took part in the UK Chess Challenge Megafinals and won 3 of 6 matches. This is amazing, and you should be super proud of your achievement!
Lego Sustainable Building Challenge
Before the end of last term, a few Year 5 children took part in a Lego Sustainable Building Challenge for Red Nose Day. Chloe, Huda and Ioas in 5 Meteor submitted their Sustainable Lego Builds and have won a feature in the next Lego Magazine and some boxes of Lego. Well done for this amazing achievement!
