Global Goal 4 – Quality Education - Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.

Dear Families,

Spring term 2024 has ended with a bang! Your children are flourishing and making amazing progress, as many of you have seen as part of the learning and achievement mornings that have taken place over the last few days! You should be so proud of your children!

As always, we would like to thank you for continued support and feedback!

Community Support

Belmont School would like to extend a big thank you to Middlesex CSR for donating consumable items for our families to use over the holidays. The items have been well received!

For families who are at risk of being made homeless, please contact Harrow council for support:

Outstandingly Happy Harrow School!

A sprinkle of inspiration from the Art of Brilliance. Why not give this a try in the holidays:

Do not forget that as a school we are all working in the 2% Mindset mode:

Assemblies

Year 3 classes were amazing this half-term. They were able to share their learning about Fair Trade, The Pied Piper, The Egyptians and shared their learning with Wigmore Hall! Pupils were well-prepared, expressive and determined to showcase their talents! Well done!

Year 5 families were also invited to watch an amazingly well put-together performance from the 'Outstandingly Happy Harrow' event that the pupils attended. We will be sharing more information after the holidays!

We would also like to thank Ashley Cooper, who came to school as our guest speaker to talk about Neurodiversity to the Years 4, 5 and 6 pupils. We are proud of our pupils and how we are building our school community and sharing what makes us 'Stronger Together'.

Online Learning Expectations and Support

We continue to set online weekly home learning online via 'Microsoft My Teams'. Staff will review what has been completed and leave feedback on the pupil’s page.

We are digitising the way the school operates, this means you will have access to all of the pupils daily learning so that pupils can review what they have learnt during the school day at home.

Please focus on reading with your child every day for at least 20 minutes, help them to learn their times tables and spellings and talk to them about their learning in school.

If you need help or support with online home learning, Mr Baig, our Computing Technician will be available to support you every morning from 8.30am to 9am. You will need to complete the following form to let us know what you need help with:
