Global Goal 4 – Quality Education - Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.

Dear Families,

The end of this half-term is here! We have had so many incredible moments, which include the completion of the Year 6 SATs, visits to Wigmore Hall with Reception pupils, the Science Museum for Year 6 and a local visit to Bentley Priory for Year 4. We have had so many lovely comments from members of the public regarding the behaviour observed by our pupils being exemplary. We are so very proud of this and would like to thank our families for supporting the visits and encouraging our children to follow the behaviour policy outside of school.

Yesterday was Mrs Hainsworth's last day. I know Mrs Hainsworth would like to thank the families for their kind words and presents. She will be missed, but we wish her well and hope she enjoys her retirement.

We will be closed for staff INSET on Monday 3rd June. School will resume on Tuesday 4th June.

A Blast From The Past

We would like to thank Carol Mcadam, who donated a Tapestry that was created by May Helena Greedy in 1935 whilst her children Simon and Peter Greedy attended our school.

It is always wonderful to share stories for families, but this is extra special as this will be nearly 80 years old!

We would like to thank the family for their kind donation and will display this in our main foyer.

Year 2 Production

We would like to thank the Year 2 team, pupils and families for a wonderful production of 'The Rock Pool'.

All the children were amazing, and we just want to say a big thank you to the staff, children and parents for putting on such a phenomenal show!

Bringing Unhealthy Snacks into school

Recently we have seen an increase in families bringing in unhealthy snacks to school at the end of the day and part of after-school snacks.

We do not allow snacks on school site as they may contain allergens that are harmful to members of our school community. Therefore, we are requesting no unhealthy snacks such as juice, crisps, biscuits and sweet treats be brought onto the school site. If seen, the staff will ask you to put it away and take it home. So please do not bring these items on site.

Year 5 Walk Home Alone Consent

After the May half-term, children in Year 5 will only be able to walk home on their own if parents give consent on Arbor. We will be sending out a guide of how to do this separately, so please check your emails. Consent will need to be given by Tuesday 4th June and will be subject to change if staff have concerns.

Outstandingly Happy Harrow School!

Children have been spreading kindness around school and have been thinking about what their best would look like. They would like families to spend time in the holidays to reflect on the following:

Do not forget that as a school we are all working in the 2% Mindset mode:

OPAL 1 Year Anniversary

This week in school we have been celebrating our 1-year anniversary of OPAL and is has been a huge success. We have fashion shows, scooter time trails, limbo and hula hooping challenges.

Belmont School's Summer Fair

We are delighted to announce that our Belmont School Summer Fair will be held on Friday 28th June from 2.45-4.30pm.

Would you like your own stall at the fair?

We welcome parents/carers or local businesses to run their own stalls? The cost for a stall will be £30 for 1 table. To apply for a stall please fill out the Microsoft team's form below.

https://forms.office.com/e/h52XLSmSj1

Please note, stalls will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, to ensure we have a balance of different types of stalls. Thanks for all your invaluable support!
