Global Goal 4 – Quality Education - Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.

Dear Families,
We have had a wonderful start to the second half of this term. It is lovely to see all of our pupils in school and showcasing their learning.
A reminder as the weather is changing, for families to provide a raincoat for rainy days like today. Please make sure that you label everything with your child's name and class.
Remembrance day 2025
On Tuesday, we took time to honour and remember the brave soldiers who fought during the First and Second World Wars.
Mrs Karimboy and some of the Year 6 pupils shared an incredible assembly on what life might have been like for the soldiers — the challenges they faced, the risks they took, and the sacrifices they made to protect the freedoms we enjoy today. We linked their actions and values to key aspects of British values, such as the Rule of Law and Individual Liberty, understanding how their efforts helped shape the society we live in.
Children created large posters showcasing impactful words of remembrance. Our displays are a tribute to those who served and a reminder of why it’s so important to remember them today and every day.

Anti-Bullying Week 2025: Power for Good
This week we have been participating in a variety of activities for 'Anti-Bullying Week 2025' with the theme: Power for Good. We kicked off with Odd Socks Day and would like to thank all the adults and children who wore odd socks this week to celebrate what makes us all unique.
Miss Richards presented a wonderful assembly with help from the Junior Health Stars and some choir members from Year 3.
It is important for us to use the theme to remind all of our community, that as duty bearers, it is our responsibility to spread good around us.

4 Neptune Class Assembly
4 Neptune blew the spectators away with their sensational class assembly based on the book they have been reading in class, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, a novel by C. S. Lewis.
The children were clear, sang beautifully and kept the audience on the edge of their seats!
Thank you to the staff and families for your continued support and showcasing why we are 'Stronger Together'.
Another Healthy Schools Reminder
As a Gold Healthy School, the Junior Health Ambassadors would like to remind our families that we are part of the Fit4Life Harrow project.
As a parent of a Harrow pupil, it is expected that you uphold your section of this charter by pledging to:
- Reduce the amount of sugary foods and drinks
- Provide healthy snacks at the end of the school day
- Exercise with children outside of school for at least 30 minutes a day – this could be as simple as a walk
- Sign-up and regularly attend an NHS Dentist and ensure your child brushes their teeth at least twice a day
- Ensure your children are up-to-date with vaccinations
- Talk to your children each day about how they are feeling and how their day went
Health and fitness must be a priority to help improve your children’s life chances. Please do not bring unhealthy snacks afterschool. If you need to bring your child a snack, please make sure it is healthy:

Winter Fair 2025
We’re excited to welcome you to Belmont’s Winter Fair on Friday 12th December from 2:30pm to 4:30pm. It’s always a lovely way for families to come together and enjoy a fun afternoon of games, food, and community spirit.
This year, we’ll have a range of activities, stalls, and entertainment for all ages. There will be something for everyone, from games and challenges to delicious treats and exciting prizes.
If you'd like to get involved, there are a few ways to help:
Please complete the form below if you’re happy to lend a hand with setting up, running a stall, or helping with packing down after the event.

To make things smoother on the day, we’ll be using a quick and easy ticketing system where families can buy tokens in advance. These tokens can be used for activities, games, and certain stalls. More info on this will be shared closer to the date—no need to do anything just yet!
Raffle tickets and tokens will go on sale from Tuesday 2nd December.
Thank you for your continued support. These events are only possible because of our brilliant families. We’re looking forward to seeing you there!
Outstandingly Happy Harrow School!
Belmont pupils and staff are always looking to live outside their zone of comfort and, as part of this, we would like to share the following quote with you:

Do not forget that as a school we are all working in the 2% Mindset mode:

We hope you have a lovely weekend!
Best wishes,
