Nursery Home learning 20th March

 

This week the children have been learning about recycling. We have made a rubbish truck and recycling centre in our nursery.

Nursery Home Learning 6th March

 

Literacy:

​This week the children have been reading 'Somebody swallowed Stanley' and learning to sequence pictures from the story.

Maths:
The children have been exploring different coins this week, and learning a new song 'Five current buns'

Nursery Home Learning 28th February

 

Literacy:

The children have begun their new exploration into single-use plastics. This week they have been learning the names of different materials.

- Watch the materials video and try and find objects at home that are made of wood, plastic, metal and glass. Please add pictures or videos to your child's Tapestry account.

Maths:

The children have been practising forming numbers from 1 to 6.

- Encourage your child to have a go at writing numbers by themselves. Use the oxford owl number sheets to help.  (see Above)

The children have now come to the end of their 'Change-makers' exploration about weather.

This week the children have been learning about thunderstorms.
